Overview
Pixie is a multi-agent development platform written in Rust. It takes a spoken idea through an interview and a plan, runs the work contained on your own machines with any coding agent you subscribe to, and reviews the result automatically.
What it does
Spoken ideas
Start with an idea, said out loud.
Interview and planning
Pixie asks the questions, then plans the work.
Contained execution
Agents run contained, on your own machines.
Automated review
The finished work gets an automated review.
The story
It starts with an idea, spoken out loud. Pixie interviews you and plans the work, then sends a fleet of coding agents to build it in contained runs on your own machines, and reviews what they make.
How it’s built
Pixie is written in Rust for its speed and memory safety, and a fleet of agents is building it in parallel, the same way the platform is designed to work.
- Strict Rust
- The codebase forbids unsafe code and the shortcuts that can panic at runtime.
- The agents you already use
- It drives the coding agents you already pay for, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini, through their own apps, and never handles your login.
- Built the way it works
- Agents claim work from a ledger of task cards. A change merges only when the ledger has accepted that exact change and its tests pass on both Mac and Linux.
